Daily Red Red Team

Red uses the same fixed six level-100 sets in Daily Challenge, Random Practice, and Replay Today, always opening with Pikachu. The exact moves, items, abilities, natures, and stats below come directly from the versioned source used by the battle engine—not from another Daily Red site.

The order at a glance

Six roles, one fixed opener

Pikachu occupies the opening slot. Later switch order is chosen by the battle AI from legal requests, so this page does not promise a fixed sequence after turn one.

Read advantages carefully

Weakness is not a knockout guarantee

The multipliers above describe defensive typing in Generation III. Final damage also depends on the relevant Attack or Special Attack, the defender’s corresponding Defense stat, base power, same-type attack bonus, held items, abilities, status, critical hits, and the engine’s random damage range.

Abilities and effects can modify the simple chart. Snorlax’s Thick Fat reduces Fire and Ice damage, Reflect reduces physical damage for its duration, and a consumed berry is no longer available. Treat the type list as the start of a calculation, not the result.

Start with Pikachu’s full set

A Ground type is immune to Thunderbolt, but Ground typing alone does not answer Brick Break, Iron Tail, Speed, or accumulated damage.

Preserve the second answer

A favorable trade now may consume the only healthy response to Venusaur’s Sleep Powder or Charizard’s mixed coverage later.

Confirm effects in the log

Use observed damage, status, item consumption, recovery, and forced switches to update the plan instead of treating one badge as complete information.
